Concept for club branding for the proposed USL League One (USL1) team to be based in Winter Garden, FL.
Inspired by the town’s history as a stop on the old Orange Belt Railway and as a key locale in Florida’s historic citrus industry, this branding concept produces a name with European football style, but a uniquely Floridian flair. Complete with citrus-inspired kit designs and a mascot – “Grover”, the anthropomorphic orange train conductor.
The crest features the downtown Winter Garden’s centerpiece pavilion building, with the clock set to “4:07”, the area code for Orange County. Below are representations of citrus groves, a citrus blossom, and a locomotive wheel which also doubles as a cross section of an orange.
